Description
so i found this canvas with some of my more forgotten art supplies that has probably been laying around for years, and i decided to try painting something. (because what else am i going to do...) i just used my craft acrylic paints that have accumulated in a box in the family pantry and some random tube acrylics i found. oh, and some buttons because no matter how hard i resist i can never not make everything mixed media.
i've wanted to start painting for awhile now since I've somehow avoided it during classes and I never painted all that much as a kid. so here you go, really only my second serious painting ever, acrylic on canvas. this was really fun since I got to use one of my favorite color combinations ever, that light teal blue color with the bright red/pink that just makes me super happy.
i think i went a little overboard with the flower puke stuff and ended up using more that I originally intended. This along with many other little mistakes are evident, but this has been a great learning experience and I feel more confident to do more paintings this coming school year.
anyway, hope you like this! it was really fun.
thank you~
